Queer people and attitudes were at the forefront of the Malmö club scene in the early 1990s. Skönhet kommer (Beauty is Coming) was one of the outcomes. The organizers were searching for a venue for their artistic activities, and ended up in an abandoned industrial building. With this location, their plans changed to hosting an underground club with party nights, which in itself became an artistic project. They held conceptual parties with different themes, with the premises being remodelled for every event. Themes included, for example, the French Revolution.
