Emil Näsvall made this bust of Social Democratic politician Per Albin Hansson (1885 1946). Hansson grew up in a house on the road which now bears his name Per Albin Hanssons Väg. The house has been turned into a museum in his memory. When he was 13 years old, his family moved from Fosie to the Korpen neighbourhood of Malmö. In his 20s, Hansson met his fianc e Sigrid Vestdahl, and moved to her home on Kristianstadsgatan, just a couple of paces from where his bust has stood since 1949. Per Albin Hansson was Prime Minister of Sweden twice, from 1932 to 1936 and from later that year until 1946. Foto 1: Ur Min ungdoms park Foto 2: Ur Svensk Damtidning
