In 1902, the board approved a proposal for a larger restaurant building, since there weren t sufficient facilities to meet the demand. The architect Aron Wolf Krenzisky designed the building, which opened in 1903. It was inspired by Tivoli in Copenhagen and cost 60,000 Swedish kronor. The allotments north of Moriska Pavilion were purchased in 1924 and the park expanded. Over the years, Moriskan has hosted both dancing and sports. The game of bingo was introduced to Moriskan by the MAI sports association. The prize was half a pig. There was an influx of players when TV star Lasse Holmquist was hired as host (for an eyeborw-raising fee of 125 kronor). After that, it became so popular that they had to move to the larger Admiral cinema. Foto: Ur Jeanette Rosengrens samlingar utom nummer 2 som föreställer arkitektens ritningar över Moriskan.
