N. P. Möller, the friendly estate agent, became well-known in the early 1970s as the lead character in the TV programme of the same name.
N. P. Möller, the friendly estate agent, became well-known in the early 1970s as the lead character in the TV programme of the same name. He spent his days hanging round Möllevången, with a lively set of accomplices: stray dog Calle, fast-talking corner shop assistant Skogan, and, perhaps most memorably, his neighbour, played by Janne Malmsjö who drank too much and constantly talked about his bygone days on the football field (he went by the nickname Danskdödaren the Dane Killer). Nils Ahlroth, who played the main character, is in the centre of this photograph, with the series' creators Jacques Werup, åke Wihlney, Håkan Ersgård and Frank Andersson. In the series, this street was called Solgatan, but it was filmed right here on Simrishamnsgatan (as well as in many other outdoor locations throughout the city). Photograph: Bilder i Syd
