The City Archive (Malmö Stadsarkiv) is situated in the former premises of Arbetet newspaper. The Social Democrat publication was located in this building from 1939. Nowadays, the archive holds documents and pictures about Malmö's history, people and places. The collection contain material that reflects society's views on homosexuality and bisexuality throughout the years. This material includes documents from authorities such as the police and law courts, but also from organisations like RFSL Malmö and Lesbisk Front.
