The B lowska House was built in 1856. The radical liberal Folkets Tidning (The People s Newspaper) was published here, by politician Christian B low and his son. B low once said that the purpose of the newspaper was to fight the abuse of power and vindicate the human and civil rights of the working and middle classes . In 1931 EPA (or Enhetsprisaktiebolaget to give it its full name) moved in, becoming Lund s first department store. The building was demolished in 1971, to be replaced the next year by the Domushuset.
