Now the location of Tusen&2 restaurant, this corner was home to the Zorba restaurant throughout the 1980s. It was a cozy place that served simple Greek food and drinks, and quickly became an unofficial gay meeting place. Gay men and women would meet in a relaxed environment over a plate of food and a beer in the early evenings. As the chairs at the tables became occupied, new guests would pick up stools from behind the jukebox, and the room would often fill up, especially at the weekend.
