The German-born actress and singer Marlene Dietrich (1901-1992) is famous for films like 1930 s The Blue Angel (in which she kissed a woman on the mouth) and songs including Lili Marlene. She also renounced her German citizenship in 1939, becoming a US citizen and performing countless times for Allied troops during World War II. Post-war, she stayed in the US and lived an extravagant amorous life, loving both women and men. Some of her female partners were Mercedes de Acosta and Sweden s own Greta Garbo. On October 22, 1973, Marlene Dietrich performed two concerts at Malmö Stadsteater. The second show in paticular has passed into legend the cheering audience didn t want to go home!
