My husband and I met in Lund, in 1978. I was 18 and he was 17. We had already seen other at the Klostergårdens youth centre in the spring, but we had never really talked. It was in the autumn that we became a couple. One day, I was on the way home from work to do my laundry. The bus was going down Botulfsplatsen when I spotted him through the window. On the spur of the moment, I jumped off the bus and intercepted him outside the Java tea room. We talked for a while, then he asked me if I wanted to come for dinner at his parents house. I abandoned my laundry plans and and said yes! It wasn t long before we moved in together at my place on Klostergården.
