Liquor once upon a time was bought at Gästis, but then the drinks got their own store here on östergatan. Still in the 1960s it was the smallest liquor store in Sweden. After a move to the square by ICA with the construction market as the closest neighbor, business finally started sprawling. The population grew, but it grew even more in Höllviken which eventually won the tug of war over the municipality s two only liquor stores. The other one is in Vellinge. The picture of the interior is from around 1910 and is taken when the store was situated on Hammargatan by the City Hall - Rådhustorget.
