A Skanör that disappeared

You are standing on the crossroad between östergatan and Kaptensgatan, looking north. The first picture shows the houses that burned down in 1885 in the foreground. But the white gable belongs to a new house that was built after the fire in 1874 and survived the big fire in 1885. One can sense the city hall and the church behind it. A building can be glimpsed in the graveyard as well. It was Klockargården that was torn down in the 1890s. Next picture. You'll have to turn around completely to see östergatan to the south. None of these estates survived the fire of 1885. The last picture is of a woodcut from 1879. We see the same part of östergatan as in the last picture, but the artist has managed to draw a weird gable on the estate to the left.
