Ester s best friend had a twin brother, Otto, and one night on her way home from her friend s house, Ester suddenly heard a voice. Should I accompany the lady home? The chivalrous gentlemen turned out to be Otto. Ester accepted the offer of an escort, and so began their life together. On 15th October 1932, Otto Månsson and Ester Andersson were married in Lund Cathedral. Shortly after, the newly-wed couple moved to Malmö and opened the first in what would become a chain of cafes - Månssons Konditori. A couple of years later they had their only child, a son. After many wonderful years together, Ester and Otto died within a couple of months of each other.
