The beautiful area around Borgmästarekajen has for a long time been a populare area for pedestirians enjoying the sea view and magical sunsets. On this picture we can see the Wachtmeister Palace and surrounding buildings during the beginning of the 20th Century. From the 1970 s the Palace (also called Grevaregården) is a part of the Blekinge regional Museum and during Summer 2020 a new World Heritage exhibition opened in this beautiful estate.
